The Ex-Yu Rock Society (EYRS) was formally established as a civil society organization in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021 with the goal of promoting and preserving Ex-Yu rock and roll and the music culture that surrounds it. The organization launched the Ex-Yu Rock Centar in November 2022 in Sarajevo. The EYRS views the Ex-Yu Rock Centar as an important space in the region where rock fans can communicate and collaborate, celebrate hundreds of timeless bands and artists from the past and make new music for today. As of March 2026, the Ex-Yu Rock Centar is temporarily closed. Information will soon be announced regarding a new location in Sarajevo.
